Overland Park Welcome Hubs

Overland Park Convention Center

The Overland Park Convention Center will serve as a Transportation Hub Welcome Center during the 2026 international soccer event period in Kansas City, connecting guests to airport transportation, regional transit, FanFest activities, and match day transportation services.

Visitor assistance, transportation guidance, and international guest resources are available onsite throughout the tournament period.

The Transportation Hub will operate daily from June 8 through July 13, 2026. Outdoor seating will be available.

Oak Park Mall 

Oak Park Mall is serving as a visitor welcome hub through the repurposing of a former restaurant space near the mall’s main 95th Street entrance.

Key features include:

  • Coordinated loading and unloading
  • Designated parking area
  • Easy access to Oak Park Mall amenities
  • Strategic service for Fan Fest and Stadium visitors

Johnson County United Link
Circulator Service

Johnson County United Link is a circulator fare-service designed to connect riders to key destinations across the community. For a full map and additional details, click here: Johnson County United Link. This map is a draft from Johnson County Transit; an official map will be published soon.

Service highlights:

  • Two routes operating in Overland Park
  • Seven stops located throughout the city
  • Oak Park Mall serving as a central connection point across all routes

The Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride service will operate with 30-minute frequencies daily through July 16. It will operate with 60-minute frequencies daily beginning on July 17, running as long as funding is available.

  • Mondays-Fridays: 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.

  • Saturdays: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Sundays: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

 

BikeShareKC

Visitors can get around Overland Park with ease through a network of 60 rentable e-bikes available at key destinations across the city.

E-bike locations include:

  • Downtown Overland Park / Matt Ross Community Center

  • Roe Park

  • 91st and Metcalf

  • 105th and Metcalf

  • 110th and Metcalf

  • Overland Park Convention Center

Apply if your event is:

  • Special non-commercial: 1,000+ expected attendees (parks, churches, universities, community venues)

  • Commercial: any event with sponsors, paid entry, or other commercial benefit

Who does not need a license

    • Sports bars, restaurants, and retail where sports are regularly televised as normal business

Parade of Hearts Tourism Push

Overland Park is part of the Parade of Hearts, a regional partnership bringing cities together around a shared visitor experience.

What it offers:

  • A collaborative, multi-city tourism effort
  • A shared web-based platform to promote events, attractions, and special offers
  • New promotional opportunities for businesses, opening March 16

This partnership gives local businesses added visibility while helping visitors discover more to see, do, and experience across the region.

Oak Park Mall

Oak Park Mall is offering Overland Park Chamber members a 20% discount on advertising agreements committed/signed by May 15.
