Overland Park Chamber honors business leader with 2025 Richard A. Worrel Community Legacy Award

Overland Park, Kan., December 5, 2025 – Michael Tracy is the 2025 recipient of the Richard A. “Rick” Worrel Community Legacy Award, presented annually by the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented at the organization’s Annual Meeting on December 5, 2025. The event also included a program headlined by Raven Jemison, President of KC Current.

Tracy founded OMNI Human Resource Solutions more than 25 years ago to provide affordable, reliable HR support to help organizations succeed. He has been an enthusiastic community advocate. In addition to serving in numerous leadership roles with the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, he also has been president of the Overland Park Rotary, where he introduced new social and volunteer opportunities. He also has been a dedicated volunteer with Jackson County CASA and the Archdiocese of Kansas City where he leads its housing project for retired priests.

Although he is not native to Overland Park, his passion and commitment make it seem as though he has always called it home. He continuously seeks ways to improve himself and the community, frequently asking, “How can I make this place better?”

The Overland Park Chamber established the Worrel Award in 2019 to honor longtime community leader Rick Worrel and to recognize individuals who exemplify Worrel’s legacy of lifetime service to the community.

During the lunch program, 2025 Chamber Chair Kim Winslow, TILDA Strategic Consulting, reviewed accomplishments of the year and 2026 Chairman David Freisner, Konza Global Wealth Group, previewed Chamber plans for the year ahead.

Presenting sponsor of the 2025 Annual Meeting was AdventHealth. Gold Sponsor was ALLO Business. Silver Sponsors were DLM Law, Kutak Rock LLP and Truity Credit Union.
