The Chamber helped JoAnn Woody, executive director, and other representatives of the American Red Cross celebrate a ribbon cutting for the opening of the first American Red Cross fixed donation center in the Kansas City area at 6301 West 135th Street.

The location was selected because the Overland Park area is home to the largest percentage of our regular blood donors in the region. It accepts appointments for whole blood and blood product, such as platelets, donations.
