Work-based learning for K-12 students provides opportunities for business-to-education engagement that helps build our future talent pipeline and retain top tier talent.

Student Chamber
The Chamber partners with Shawnee Mission School District to facilitate the SMSD Student Chamber of Commerce to empower student entrepreneurs and young business enthusiasts (Pre-K-12th grade) to thrive, collaborate and innovate.
Summer Interns
Our Summer Interns program is a unique experience for college interns to network and explore Overland Park. The program helps interns build networks and offers the opportunity to experience both the quality of life and the professional side of Overland Park. Social events are geared towards fun and networking, while the skills series is aimed at developing the interns into young working professionals.
