The Overland Park Chamber listens to the concerns, goals and challenges of businesses. We focus on issues that create a pro-business environment and advocate at each level of government so local businesses prosper.
We have full-time dedicated lobbyists in Topeka every day the Kansas Legislature is in session, taking your business interests straight to your elected officials.

We provide more in-depth analysis of the issues with white papers and legislative updates while the Kansas legislature is in session.
Public Policy & Advocacy Committee
If you want to be involved in helping set the Chamber's policy priorities, we encourage you to join our Public Policy & Advocacy Committee , which is comprised of representatives of Chamber member companies. The committee discusses governmental and legislative issues and recommends policy to the Chamber's Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Kevin Walker, Executive Vice President & Chief Policy Officer, is the Chamber's on-staff lobbyist. He ensures a direct line of communication between the business community and government to advance business legislative priorities to the city, county, state and federal levels.
