Business Retention & Expansion

The Chamber’s Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) program recognizes that job creation and investment often comes from businesses already operating in our community. Through one-on-one visits with the leaders at local businesses, our BRE program helps existing businesses remain competitive, grow and create jobs locally.
How Does it Work?
We want to fully understand your company and factors critical to your success. To better address a wide array of areas impacting your business, we schedule 45-minute visits with you and any members of your leadership team who could bring value to the discussion. All information shared, unless otherwise specified, remains confidential. Areas of support can include supporting property searches for new locations within Overland Park, connecting businesses to state and local incentive programs and supporting business development.
Purpose
The primary goals of the BRE program are to:
- Retain existing businesses and prevent closures or relocations.
- Support business growth and expansion.
- Maintain and create jobs.
- Strengthen the local economy and tax base.
- Identify and address barriers to business success.
- Improve communication between businesses and public-sector partners.
After gaining a full understanding of your company, we connect you with resources and serve as an ongoing contact for business support. We never charge for these services. Our organization is successful when you are.
